    California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF)

    In order to qualify, a student must have a 3.5 grade point average in the areas of science, history, math, and language arts. If a student receives a “D” or “F,” he/she will not qualify for this program. This program is limited to seventh and eighth graders. As per the by-laws of the Federation, it is the student’s responsibility to obtain a membership application and return it to the library by the due date. This will occur at the end of each trimester. No late applications will be accepted. Applications are available in the library. A field trip or activity will be held each trimester for members of CJSF. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain a field trip permission slip and return it to the library by the due date. No late permission slips will be accepted. 

    Honor Society

    Sixth graders may apply for membership in the Honor Society at the end of each grading period. In order to qualify, a student must have a 3.5 grade point average in the areas of science, history, math, and language arts.
