    William Brooks Youth Fitness Program /

    After School Running Club

     

    WHAT:  This free program teaches our children that running is fun by increasing running distances very gradually.   Details are described in the Training Program schedule below. This program is open to all William Brooks students and their parents.  Participation in the Mito Kids run is optional.  Training will initially be 30 minutes after school, Monday and Wednesday, gradually increasing to 1 hour at the end of the training.  There will be one run on your own each week (it can even be on Friday morning, at the Friday morning walk).  There will be two weeks right before the run, when the kids are on vacation, that they will have to do all the training on their own.

     

    WHEN:  The program begins on Monday, February 25, and ends on Saturday, April 27, 2019, with the Mito Kids Run at El Dorado Hills Town Center

    WHAT:  It is the final goal of the Youth Fitness Program: a 5k (3.1 mile) fun run!

    WHEN:  Saturday, April 27, 2019, 8 am.

    WHERE:  El Dorado Hills Town Center

    DETAILS:  Participation in this event is voluntary.  Transportation to and from the race and supervision at the event will be the responsibility of the child’s parent or guardian.
