Hour Zero Employee Trainings

  • Hour-Zero Training for the 2022-2023 school year!  Deadline to complete the Hour-Zero training is at the end of the day on October 17th.
     
    We have the following mandatory training:   Mandate Reporter - Child Abuse Training and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training - all employees are required to complete this training
     
    Pest Management Training is optional - except for Custodial staff.  Also, if you are going to use disinfecting wipes (like Clorox wipes) - you need to take the Pest Mgmt. Training.
     
    Required Training: 
    Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training
    Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
     
    Integrated Pest Mgmt. Training - for Custodial Staff or those using disinfecting wipes
     
    Optional Training:
    Integrated Pest Mgmt. Training 
     
    You do not need to take the other training listed - unless you have been directed to do so.
     
    New Employees hired since July 1, 2021:
    If you are a new employee and have taken the Mandatory training(s) after July 1st - then you are good for the 2022-2023 school year. 
     
    Please login to the Hour-Zero website (www.hour-zero.com) - instructions are attached.  If you do not remember your password - you can reset your password through Hour-Zero or email me and I will reset it for you.
     
    When you go to the training section you will see the Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training - which is mandatory and the Integrated Pest Management Training - which is optional.  Under "Launch Course" click on the "START" button and the training program will begin.  (note: you will see the completion date of last year's training)
     
    The Hour-Zero system will track completion of the course - you do not need to turn anything in to the District Office.  Please note:  you may also receive reminder emails that the training needs to be completed.
     
    Training should be done during your duty day, if possible.
