To All Buckeye Union,
Beginning September 17th, employees and volunteers will no longer be required to demonstrate proof of COVID vaccination or submit to weekly testing. This comes as a result of the California Department of Public Health rescinding the previous order requiring all employees and volunteers to either provide proof of COVID vaccination or test weekly for COVID-19.

2/7/23 BUSD/Dream Enrichment Class Request (ELOP) - Session C DEADLINE: 5pm 2/17/23
Buckeye Union TK-5th families,
The Buckeye Union School District is now accepting requests for enrollment in Session C in its after-school extended learning opportunity classes for students to participate in beyond the regular school day. Session C classes will begin the week of Monday, March 20, 2023, and end on Thursday, June 1, 2023. The District has partnered with Dream Enrichment Classes to provide: (1) Firefly Art; (2) Early Engineers; (3) Honeycode Videogame Programming; and (4) Chess Academy to our TK-5th grade student population as part of its Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP). Classes are offered as follows:
Oak Meadow Elementary: Mondays - (Firefly Art & Early Engineers); Tuesdays - (Honeycode & Chess)
Silva Valley Elementary: Mondays - (Honeycode & Chess); Tuesdays - (Firefly Art & Early Engineers)
William Brooks Elementary: Wednesdays - (Firefly Art & Early Engineers); Thursdays - (Honeycode & Chess)
Valley View Charter Montessori: Wednesdays - (Honeycode & Chess); Thursdays - (Firefly Art & Early Eng.)
Buckeye Elementary: Wednesdays - (Firefly Art & Early Engineers); Thursdays - (Honeycode & Chess)
Blue Oak Elementary: Wednesdays - (Honeycode & Chess) and Thursdays: (Firefly Art & Early Engineers)
Priority enrollment into Session C will be given: (1) to those students who meet the priority criteria for ELOP funding; and (2) to those students who did not participate in Session A or Session B; and (3) for those students who will be attending the entire program (both classes) on the days scheduled at the school site. There is no cost to participate in these classes.
Once registration requests have been processed, you will receive an email confirming your enrollment in the Session C Classes or, if capacity has been reached, notifying you of your placement on the waitlist.
If space in any Session C Classes remains after processing all requests for placement, then requests from Session A and B students to continue into Session C Classes will be processed. Again, once all registration requests have been processed, you will receive an email notifying you of the status of your request.

To submit your request for Session C, please complete one form for each student.
