District Local Control Accountability Plan

Parent Advisory Committee

The role of the District Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Parent Advisory Committee is to provide leadership in developing, monitoring and refining a coordinated district level plan to implement the District’s goals for improving the quality of the educational program provided for students in the Buckeye Union School District.  In this effort, the LCAP Parent Advisory Committee creatively seeks out strategies and opportunities for continuously and measurably increasing student achievement in a standards-based educational program.  The LCAP Parent Advisory Committee is facilitated by the Superintendent and is made up of parents, teachers, classified staff, administrators from each site and a Board member.

It is requested that each member serve as a liaison to School Site Councils/Parent Groups, school staff and the community.  This committee is advisory and makes recommendations to the Superintendent and/or Board.

District LCAP Parent Advisory  Meetings are held from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. in the E-7 Meeting Room at the Valley View Elementary School site.
