The Board of Education of the Buckeye Union School district has worked extensively with the community in the adoption of a calendar that is focused on student learning. After moving away from a multi-track year round calendar the Board and steering committee did and comprehensive review of all aspects of school scheduling and surveyed the community. This resulted in a calendar that features intersession breaks at the end of each trimester for students and staff. These breaks are used to provide programs to help those students who might need additional support in a concept to receive some targeted instruction.
