Board of Trustees Meetings

Where and when are the meetings held?

The Buckeye Union School District Board of Trustees usually meets twice a month; typically on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room at 4560 Buckeye Road, Shingle Springs.

Are the meetings held in public? 

Yes, and the public is encouraged and welcome to attend.

Do members of the audience have an opportunity to speak?

Persons wishing to speak on an item listed on the agenda must fill out a request card located at the back of the conference room and submit it to the board secretary prior to the discussion of the item.  Persons wishing to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so during the "Public Comments" portion of the meeting.

What is the procedure when called to speak?

Come to the podium and state your name.  Be brief and to the point.  Individual speakers shall be allowed three minutes to address the Board.
